Alder Live edge Clamp stands made spalted Alder display stands for glass art

Waney edge Spalted Alder stands with clamp holders for displaying Glass.
 
This small batch has been handmade in my small Leicestershire workshop the stands are made from English sourced alder.
 
These stands are packed full of character have spalting ( different colour shades) some are heavily Spalted and some are more subtle.
 
I’ve left the waney (or live) edge on giving the wood it’s original look and with the contrasting colours, each stand is uniquely beautiful.

Each stand is finished with a hard wearing oil.

-10cm long, two clamps

All stands are 2cm high and at least 8cm deep however these sizes excludes the live edge and because of the variance of the live edge each stand is slightly different) The ‘clamp’ can hold pieces between 5 and 8mm and is simply adjusted using a screwdriver(not included)
