Yew Circular 200mm dia stand holder Clamp display stands for glass live edge

Wooden Stand for displaying 200mm diameter circular glass piece held with clamps.
 
Handmade in my small Leicestershire workshop the stands are made from locally sourced English Yew.
 
Yew is quite a ‘knarley’ wood so the stands are packed full of character with knots, natural splits etc. Some also have small areas of the waney (or live) edge has been left on giving the wood its original look and with the contrasting colours. No two stands are the same but each is uniquely beautiful.
The ‘clamp’ can hold pieces between 5mm and 8mm and is simply adjusted using a screwdriver(not included) to tighten.
 
Each stand has been sanded and finished with a hard wearing oil. The oak base is approx 6.5cm high, 4.5cm wide and 20cm long.
