Ash with dark heart wood Glass display stands with clamps

Live edge Ash stands with clamp holders for displaying Glass.
 
Handmade in my small Leicestershire workshop the stands are made from Ash which has some of the darkest heart wood I’ve seen, you can also see a hint of almost pink between the old and newer wood.
The waney (or live) edge has been left on giving the wood its original look and contrasting colours. 
The ‘live edge’ can be curvy or more straight so no two stands are the same but each is uniquely beautiful.
 
Each stand is finished with a hard wearing oil.

The bases are 2.3cm high and at least 6cm deep, the 25/30 cm bases at least 8cm deep however these sizes excludes the live edge and because of the variance of the live edge each stand is slightly different)
 
The 5, 10, 15 and 20cm stands come with 'clamp(s)’ that can hold pieces between 5 and 8mm. The 25 and 30cm stands you can choose either 4-8mm or 6-10mm. Each type of clamp is simply adjusted using a screwdriver(not included)
