Small live edge Yew stands with clamp holders for displaying Glass.
Handmade in my small Leicestershire workshop the stands are made from locally sourced English Yew these are ideal for displaying smaller glass art.
Yew is quite a ‘knarley’ wood so the stands are packed full of character and can have knots, natural splits etc also the waney (or live) edge has been left on giving the wood it’s original look and with the contrasting colours. The ‘live edge’ can be curvy or more straight so no two stands are the same but each is uniquely beautiful.
Each stand is finished with a hard wearing oil.

The bases are 2cm high and approx 5cm deep, however these sizes excludes the live edge and because of the variance of the live edge each stand is slightly different sized.
The ‘clamp’ can hold pieces between 5 and 8mm and is simply adjusted using a screwdriver(not included)
